In this varied position, you will inspire customers from the mechanical and control engineering sector for ABB STOTZ-KONTAKT products in the areas of switching and machine safety technology. Whether cold calling, attending trade fairs or customer events, as an experienced salesperson you will represent us in a professional and friendly manner. Your responsibilities

  • Successful acquisition of new customers to expand our sales in the field of mechanical engineering – if necessary also by telephone
  • Professional representation of ABB and STOTZ-KONTAKT products at customer sites and at trade fairs and events

  • Expert support and marketing of new product launches
  • Consistent implementation of the sales strategy
  • Competence in organizing and conducting negotiations on site and also via TEAMS
  • Close cooperation with the regional manager, the internal sales department and the product marketing department

Your background

  • Successful degree in electrical engineering, completed training as a technician or similar qualification
  • Sound experience in sales and/or product marketing – including know-how in the organization and
  • implementation of operational strategies
  • Knowledge of market structures and products in the field of mechanical engineering
  • Willingness to travel on business
  • Very good knowledge of German
