We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Backend Engineering Intern to join our team for a 6-month full-time internship. As a Backend Engineering Intern:
You build world’s best building models and its REST-API-based serving infrastructure
You design, develop, and maintain high-quality software components using Python
You debug and troubleshoot issues that arise in development, testing, and production systems
You write and maintain documentation for software backends, including design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals
You participate in agile development processes, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
Your skills.
Don’t worry if you don’t fulfil all criteria. Everyone’s got a focus.
You have strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
You contribute in a fast-paced, highly agile development environment
You have proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer (Open source contributions certainly count in, student projects do not, though)
You gained strong and in-depth knowledge working with python frameworks like Flask, FastAPI
You possess good knowledge with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL and object storage like Azure Data Lake Storage
You gained experience working in computer vision, 3D modelling, building information modelling – highly appreciated is PyVista, Open3D, pyblender, and alike
You worked with Azure cloud platform, multiple environments, build/test/deployment pipelines
Knowledge on building energy is appreciated, interest required 😉
