As a pioneer in this field, we are looking for highly skilled and passionate Deep Learning Scientists to join our team and contribute to our ongoing research and development efforts.

As a Deep Learning Scientist specialising in natural text analysis, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of innovative deep learning models and algorithms for a variety of NLP tasks.

You will work closely with a team of talented researchers, engineers and cybersecurity domain experts to design, train and optimise deep learning architectures that enable efficient and accurate analysis of large volumes of unstructured text data. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research, impact real-world applications and drive the future of AI-driven text analytics.

Tasks

• Research and development: Conduct state-of-the-art research in deep learning for natural text analysis, exploring novel architectures (Transformers → (BERT, GPT)), models and algorithms to improve the performance of NLP tasks.
• Data Preprocessing and Feature Engineering: Develop and apply advanced techniques for preprocessing and feature engineering on text data, including text tokenisation, normalisation, embedding and representation.
• Model Training and Evaluation: Train and fine-tune deep learning models leveraging techniques like transfer learning, self supervised learning or in context learning. Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and propose enhancements for achieving better results.
• Collaborative research: Work with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and cybersecurity specialists, to understand business needs, contribute to project planning, and translate research into practical solutions.
• Documentation and reporting: Document research findings, methodologies, and experimental results in a clear and concise manner. Prepare technical reports, research papers and presentations for internal and external audiences.

Requirements

• A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on machine learning, deep learning, or NLP. Candidates with a master’s degree and exceptional experience in the field will also be considered.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of deep learning models, architectures, and algorithms (e.g., convolutional neural networks (CNN), recurrent neural networks (RNN), transformer models, etc.) for NLP tasks.
• NLP and Text Analysis Experience: Proficiency in natural language processing techniques, including text preprocessing, word embeddings, sequence labeling, named entity recognition, sentiment analysis, text classification, language modeling, etc.
• Strong Mathematical Foundation: Solid understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, statistics, and optimization methods as applied to deep learning.
• Programming Skills: Proficient in programming languages commonly used in deep learning, such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
