Job Beschreibung: Your responsibilities
Oversee and manage the entire employee life cycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring an excellent employee experience.
Own our day-to-day People operations and administration, e.g contract management and people records maintenance, coordinating benefits as well as preparing the payroll
While we are building Aleph Alpha, create scalable key People operations processes, optimize workflows and drive automation to reduce manual work where possible.
Serve as the primary contact for employees for all People-related matters, providing guidance and support as needed
Provide administrative support to our People Partners, e.g. by coordinating performance management as well as learning and development processes
Develop and implement People policies and procedures to promote an efficient and compliant work environment
Create an internal People Operations knowledge hub, educating both the People team as well as employees.
Collaborate with our People Partner and Talent Acquisition team to build a world-class People function
Keep up to date with the latest HR and People trends (including tools and tech) and incorporate them into our People processes to increase quality and efficiency
Your profile
You will thrive in this role if you
know the ins and outs of People operations, ideally from several years of working at a fast-growing tech startup
love creating structure, possess excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
possess in-depth knowledge of German legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance (international labor law is a plus)
can independently conduct the preparatory payroll accounting
act proactive and solution-oriented, always with a can-do attitude and on the look-out for improvements
are able to work highly independent, staying cool also in stressful times
have a passion for new technologies and automation and actively use them in your work
are hungry to constantly learn
bring an analytical mindset, striving to make data-driven decisions
speak German as well as English at C1 level
