We are looking for a Data Architect – Principal Machine Learning Engineer (all genders) to join our growing Data tribe to work with exciting projects like our own machine learning framework, data ingestion pipelines and designing our feature store!

Your mission:

Own architectural decisions in the tribe and influence data architecture in the wider organization.

Being a role model for a specific model / process / language / algorithm / product for engineers in the team and in the chapter.

Work closely with engineers and data scientists in the organization in order to determine needs for new software, platforms and applications both in functional and non-functional requirements.

Alignment with engineering and data managers on overall technical vision for involved squads.

Develop and implement technical product specifications in Data Science, Data Engineering and Machine Learning Engineering domains.

Pay attention to system integration, sustainability and feasibility with an eye on the overall list of services and how new ones can integrate within the overall system.

Manage all phases of technology development.

Oversee and supervise the work of the development teams and guide engineers in data engineering and machine learning engineering chapters.

Have an eye on Pull Requests and suggest improvements via objective input backed up with resources to help guide the engineers for better quality in the future.

Suggest and implement solutions (either partially like spikes or via POCs) for process improvement.

Adhere to quality, security and scalability guidelines.

Being a technical representative of the data organization for internal and external events.

Your heroic skills:

Extensive experience with machine learning engineering and / or data engineering.

Familiarity with various domains (Data Science, Data Analytics, A/B Testing, Infra) and expertise in the data product pipelines.

Deep understanding of Python and its ecosystem, especially oriented to data science and Machine Learning.

Good testing practices with TDD or similar and knowledge on how to set up automated testing environments.

Wide experience working with Rest, frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, Falcon, etc.), micro services architecture and communication protocols.

Outstanding knowledge of software and application design and architecture.

A technical mindset and analytical approach.

Great attention to detail and good leadership skills.

A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR or ISO 27001
