Job Beschreibung: MODIFI’s mission is to help business sellers and buyers around the world grow through innovative solutions in global payments, trade financing and trade management services.

For our international IT organisation we are looking for an IT Support Engineer for our office in Berlin.

Your impact:

Be the first point of contact for our employees at MODIFI regarding hardware and software support
Provide the necessary support to end users on-site in our Berlin office and remotely to our offices abroad, using tools such as Slack and TeamViewer
Take ownership of issues reported, tackle problems through to resolution and provide prompt and accurate feedback to users
Perform technical on- and offboarding of employees
Provision Windows, Mac and Linux client workstations and grant system permissions in accordance with our standards
Document knowledge about recurring activities in our knowledge base and identify potential for automation
Manage billing, licensing and users for various state-of-the-art SaaS tools that we use on daily basis
Liaise with suppliers, service providers, logistic vendors for procurement and delivery of hardware as well as services and keep our inventory up to date
Contribute with your own ideas about improvements in order to build an efficient support function

Requirements

You have 2-3 years of experience working as a Technical Support Engineer, preferably in an startup environment
You know your way around Windows / Linux / Mac systems (installation, configuration maintenance and troubleshooting)
You have good knowledge in Google products for Business, such as Google Workspace
You have a strong technical affinity and you love to troubleshoot technical problems of various flavors
You are a quick learner and always find your away around new product and technologies
You are being recognized by your colleagues as a reliable and friendly person and you are a real team player
In your previous role, you were able to gain first experience in at least one scripting language (such as Bash or Python)
You understand web and cloud technologies esp. Identity and Access Management solutions
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language (German is a plus)
