Job Beschreibung: About us We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer who possesses a solid background in IT infrastructure and software development. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in our organization’s success by bridging the gap between development and operations teams, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of software applications and services. Tasks Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud platforms. Continuous Integration and Deployment: Develop and maintain automated build, deployment, and configuration management systems to enable rapid and reliable software releases. Release Management: Coordinate with development teams to plan and execute software releases, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment processes. Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and system failures. Performance Optimization: Collaborate with development teams to optimize software performance, scalability, and reliability through infrastructure enhancements and tuning. Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security measures, access controls, and compliance standards to protect sensitive data and ensure adherence to industry regulations. Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective collaboration and communication between development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to drive successful project delivery. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for infrastructure-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to operations. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture, configurations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure system integrity. Stay Updated: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to DevOps, IT infrastructure, and software development. Profile Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered. Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer, IT Infrastructure Engineer, or a similar role. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages, such as Python, Ruby, Bash, or PowerShell. Extensive knowledge of Linux/Unix environments, including system administration and shell scripting. Experience with configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI). Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. German language would be a huge plus.
