Job Beschreibung: Delivery Hero offers 80m+ food items across 50+ countries on its platforms (starters, main dishes, desserts, meal combos, drinks, etc.). As each restaurant uploads its own unique menu, it is a challenge to have consistent meta-information about these items, such as whether they are vegetarian or what type of cuisine they belong to.
Therefore we are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager (all genders) with expertise in machine learning to help us enhance our models for analyzing and categorizing these food items. Leveraging this categorization we aim to deliver more personalized experiences for our users, i.e. in search or recommendations.
Additionally, you will be leading our efforts in experimenting with generative AI for menu completion: We are looking into expanding our products into automated data augmentation for the restaurants, both food images and descriptions.
Your Mission
Own and improve the global food taxonomy & ontology at Delivery Hero. Your expertise will help accurately categorize millions of food items using proprietary transformer models.
Drive projects and experiments using generative AI to enhance the quality of item images & descriptions. Be an active member of our internal genAI community.
Continuously explore new ways to leverage your data points. Develop them further based on the business impact your team can create.
Promote & facilitate the adoption of your product across various teams at Delivery Hero, including product/tech, business analytics or content management.
Your Heroic Skills
You have worked in a data-heavy product manager role for 4+ years
You know what it takes to build & scale high-performing ML algorithms
Your deep technical understanding allows you to brainstorm, discuss & challenge your team of data scientists, data engineers and software engineers
You are able to gather insights from pools of data and can effectively link ML capabilities to business problems. Your product vision & roadmap is therefore focused on delivering the most business impact.
You have excellent communication skills which enable you to explain your product and its value to a diverse group of stakeholders & teams within our global organisation
You enjoy running complex integration/adoption projects with several teams involved and are able to keep everyone engaged and on track
