We are looking for a Software Engineer, Food Science – Consumer Data Products (all genders) to help us deliver an amazing food experience in more than 55+ countries and 25 languages. We are a global Tribe of Data Scientists, Software Engineers, Data Engineers, and Product Managers delivering innovations across our 20 brands. Our focus is on problems that span across all our brands and scale globally.
The Food Science domain delivers a global food knowledge that powers important parts of the customer experience, and strongly impacts our ability to understand our customers’ tastes and identify similarities between dishes, restaurants, and cuisines. With the advances of Generative AI we are expanding our products into menu completion and data augmentation for the vendors, both text and image. For that purpose we are building a new team that will utilize the newest AI technologies and deliver domain-specific solutions to our partners and customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying complex integrations between various cloud services and APIs to support these projects. As a Software Engineer, you will work closely with our product and data science teams to build and maintain scalable and reliable ML models that power our Generative AI products.

Your mission:
Design, develop, and maintain complex integrations between various cloud services and APIs to support Generative AI projects.
Collaborate with product and data science teams to define requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs
Develop and implement best practices for code reviews, testing, and deployment
Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials
Your heroic skills:
Experience in software engineering with a focus on cloud services and APIs
Experience with complex integrations and service-oriented architectures
Fluency in Python, especially async
Experience with our stack or similar tools: Python, FastAPI, Postgres, Cloud Run
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
You are a team player who loves to collaborate and work with stakeholders from different tech teams in a diverse environment
You have great communication skills and ability to influence beyond the team
Strong project management and time management skills.
Nice to have:
Passionate about Generative AI frameworks such as GPT, LLama, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion.
Experience with MLOps tools such as: Feast, MLflow, Kubeflow, Great Expectations
General ML/AI knowledge: basic AI and Machine learning concepts
Great communication skills and ability to influence beyond the team
Experience in an agile environment (Scrum).
