Artificial Intelligence (AI) and High Performance Computing (HPC) is a high-growth market for HPE, and we believe we are uniquely suited to bring our end-to-end technologies spanning compute technologies from Edge to Cloud, purpose-built AI software, interconnect, and services, to support our customers’ AI journey. This is an incredibly exciting time to join a dynamic and rapidly growing team where you can play a key role in understanding the needs of our customers and enabling them to deliver their mission critical AI initiatives.

We are growing our HPE EMEA Industry HPC & AI sales team.

In a typical day in this role as Solution Architect Presales you:

  • Meet AI and HPC customers, in both commercial and public sector, understand their needs, discuss their project.
  • Position yourself as a trusted advisor to AI and HPC AI customers.
  • Designs AI and HPC winning solutions that fulfill customer requirements.
  • Participates in deep-dive discussions, articulates HPE value proposition, and successfully demonstrates benefits of the proposed solution in addressing and resolving customer business challenges.
  • Write technical proposal that highlight HPE offering customer outcome.
  • Works in close relationship with HPC and AI sales team, product development and manufacturing to optimize solutions technically and financially.
  • Supports customers meetings through presentation of HPE offering and solutions highlighting HPE differentiation.
  • Provide feedback to HPC and AI R&D and Product Management team.

If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education…

  • Bachelor of Science or similar technical degree, master’s degree or Ph.D as a plus
  • + 10 years of experience in technology industry with focus on solution selling
  • Experience in AI and HPC business
  • Experience in Presales position
  • AI and HPC architecture and software ecosystems background is welcome
  • Ability to understand and influence customer demands, to analyze and to present how HPE systems can address the needs
  • Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, international environment
  • Fluent use (written & spoken) of German and English language
  • This position involves travel and customer visits
